Clan Okabe

Clan Okabe Banner

Clan Okabe, rooted in northwest Houreki, emerged as a collective of Makers seeking refuge from their tarnished reputations after the 202 burial of the first Karakuri. Joining the Separatists during the Emperor’s expansion, they honed their blood rituals to craft Karakuri, mechanical beings that fueled their growth and legacy. Under the leadership of Dragonhead Okabe Masami, a Karakuri herself, the clan balances tradition with innovation, navigating a world wary of their creations.

History

Historical Timeline

Clan Okabe began as a collective of Makers ostracized after the 202 burial of the first Karakuri, settling near a Houreki river. Named after Dragonhead Okabe Nobu, whose family once owned the land, the clan perfected blood rituals to craft Karakuri in their image. Their town grew as Karakuri gathered resources, but the toll of creation led to Nobu’s illness. In a controversial act, he crafted Okabe Masami, a Karakuri, as his heir. Despite opposition, Masami’s leadership and enhancements ensured the clan’s survival as original Makers passed, leaving a legacy of Karakuri and innovation.

These roles ensure the clan’s efficiency and defense, with Masami’s enhancements driving progress.
